Weapons
New and improved weapons are adamant in Cinema. What isn't new has definitely
been improved. Your arsenal is as follows:
Primary Weapons:
- Beretta 92FS - the pistol you started with in Max Payne, the pistol you started with in
Max Payne 2. Not many changes to this one, with the exception of moving slides, a new
firing sound and, as with all other weapons, modified firing properties. Availiable single
or one in each hand. Holds 16 rounds per magazine.
- Silenced Beretta 92FS - as above, only silenced. Enemies can only hear shots from the
silenced Beretta from very close distances. The silenced Beretta is an excellent stealth
weapon, providing the enemies don't hear the screams of their comrades..
- Desert Eagle .50 - the classic remains! Done in a new, cool, two-tone black/chrome skin,
the Desert Eagle .50 is at your side through the toughest of battles. Still availiable
single or dual. Holds 7 rounds per magazine.
- Colt Anaconda - go ahead, make my day! What's basically a big-ass revolver reminiscent of
Dirty Harry, this powerful piece easily drops enemies on their asses. Holds 6 rounds.
- Remington 590 Pump-action Shotgun - the military variant of this popular shotgun, with
an added front pistol grip. Great for short range encounters, not so great for long range
ones. Holds 9 rounds.
- Striker-12 - appearing unchanged to the naked eye, one important difference exists --
the Striker-12 now fires a new, experimental type of ammo known as "razorshot." Rather than
each shell being filled with small, round metal pellets, each shell is filled with small,
round metal pellets with razor sharp extrusions. Each magazine still holds 10 shells.
- IMI Micro Uzi - sprays 9mm rounds all over the place. 'nuff said. Availiable in dual.
Holds 32 rounds per magazine.
- HK MP5K - the MP5's compact brother, the MP5K is excellent for both short and long range
situations, and anything in between. Availiable in dual, the MP5K holds 30 rounds per
magazine.
- Bushmaster M4A3 Carbine - suitable for police use, this carbine comes preconfigured
for three round bursts of fire. Magazine holds 30 rounds.
- Avtomat Kalashnikov AK-M - the modernized version of the AK-47, the AK-M is a great
fully automatic solution to those pesky cleaners. Works best in close to medium range
and holds 30 rounds per magazine.
- Dragunov SVD - a somewhat fast firing sniper rifle, the Dragunov SVD is useful for
both medium and long range encounters. Each magazine holds 10 rounds.
- Steyr SSG - while powerful, this rifle is extremely rare in the game. Holds 5 rounds
and drops most enemies in one shot.
- M134 Minigun chambered for 5.56x45 - You got the BFG9000! Oh, yes. Err, wait, wrong
game... this weapon fires 300 rounds between reloads, and generally tears the head off of
anything you even consider aiming it at. Commence drooling.
Secondary Weapons:
- Disarm - this new ability allows you to remove the weapon from an enemy without
killing him. Great for humiliating screenshots!
- Brass Knuckles - you know what these are. A cleaner not seeing things your way? Beat
the message into him!
- Grenade - fun for the whole family, the classic "hot potato" is back. Still packs
a punch, still kills people. Why change perfection?
- Molotov Cocktail - a fiery surprise for unsuspecting enemies.
